Disneyland with Daddy!

 Having fun with Daddy!
We love the Rockits!

Kyle loves it when Daddy gets home from work and says, "Let's go to Disneyland!"  Dad turns into a kid and they both pick the rides they want to go on!  So cute.

Playdate with Henry

We love having playdates with Henry!  We aren't very good at taking pictures but that's ok.  These photos were taken at Yorba Regional Park where we walk and get exercise when it's not too hot.

John Wayne Airprt

Eating lunch at the airport, watching planes land and take off!
 A B-52 Bomber
Dad, I'm ready for an airplane!

One of our favorite activities is to go to the John Wayne Airport and watch airplanes land and take off; then go to the museum.  It's a total boy thing, so Kyle and Dad understand it more than I do!  They can spend hours here!

Wedding Day for Auntie Cole and Uncle Jordan

I am so excited for Auntie Cole!

Look at this nice piece!

Nicole, you're so beautiful!  And calm!

Wow!  Nicole and Jordan's wedding day was beautiful and everything went so well!  It rained all day but made for outstanding pictures at the Mission Inn Hotel in Riverside.  Getting ready was relaxing and fun; anticipating a night that will forever be remembered.  Then, we lined up and got ready for Auntie Cole's biggest day of her life.  The kids did great!  Kyle walked all the way down the isle holding his cute little pillow.  Nicole and Jordan said their vows beautifully and then the party was on!

2011-2012

Well, I was going to try and skip ahead to become current on my blogging but I wanted to add a few pictures in from the passed year.  They are random but tell the story of Kyle's life.  He is a very busy guy but is mellow and has a "go with the flow" personality.  In the passed year, Kyle spent every Wednesday with his cousins Abby and Tori and every Thursday and Friday with his cousins Adelyn and Logan.  We do so many fun activities like Irvine Regional Park (horse rides, trains rides, the zoo), Scooter's Jungle, Santa Ana Zoo, Grandma's house or my house, oc parks, Disneyland, swimming, and so much more.  The best though, is just being with family!  Kyle and I are also dedicated to Stroller Strides, Preschool Practice, and just became enrolled in music (so we will see where it takes us).  We were also a part of My Gym and Kyle still reminds me every time we drive by the building how much he wants to go back.  Ou family has also taken up horse back riding lessons and soon, Kyle will be able to ride.  For now he is learning about horses and the "rules" he needs to follow when he is around these beautiful animals.  So, here is a glimpse into our lives..... (ps...we still need to get photos from Gramma:))

I have a pic just like this Kyle!

Kyle's 2 1/2!

I have not blogged in so long, I don't know where to begin.  I guess I can start by saying how busy we are and Kyle requires my full attention.  So, I will try to get better at blogging:)
Kyle has been a growing bean stock lately; I hear so often that he looks like he's 3!  We stay busy throughout the weeks going to mommy and me preschool, stroller strides, hanging out with Grammi, Adelyn, and Logan, and watching Tori and Abby on Wednesdays.  Our weeks go by way to fast!  Kyle loves his busy schedule and hanging out with all his cousins and friends.  The biggest accomplishment he has made lately is his language skills.  He is referring to things by size now; so in his sentences, he will say something like, " I want the big popsicle." Or refer to babies as so little and himself as big.  He has so many words we can't even count and he has been putting about five to six words together in sentences.  His favorite animal to pretend to be is a dog and his favorite toys are trains.  He also has a favorite friend; Izzy.  Kyle can tell you his first and last name and his age, and favorite color (which is orange).  It's so much fun to watch him play with other children and build friendships.  He still likes independent/parallel play but is seeking out interactive play; especially with his close cousins.  Just today, Adelyn and Kyle were making funny faces at each other and making funny noises while they were laying on their beach towels after water play.
Kyle also really loves animals.  Bailey is his favorite of course, but he also takes care of his two fish, Baby Eyes and Fish-a-bee.  He named them himself!  We have also taken up horse back riding lessons and Kyle loves to be at the stables.  It is so fun to watch him hold out his hand and pet the horses and show interest in the cows, cats, and chickens.  He is not quite old enough for lessons; we have to wait at least 6 months.  So for now, he will enjoy the horse rides at Irvine Regional.
Kyle has been riding his bike around the neighborhood and he almost has the skill down.  He can peddle but peddling and steering is more tricky.

Here are some milestones and likes/dislikes:

Milestones:
Gross motor skills: riding a tricycle (hasn't gotten the steering part down), can stand on one foot for a second, runs everywhere, gallops, walks up and down stairs.
Speech: Says so many words, we stopped counting!  Says the funniest things!
Fine Motor: Likes not loves artwork
Help skills: Loves to help with dishes, spraying down the counters, feeding his pets, helping with launry, and cleaning his toys in the bathroom sink.
