I have not blogged in so long, I don't know where to begin. I guess I can start by saying how busy we are and Kyle requires my full attention. So, I will try to get better at blogging:)
Kyle has been a growing bean stock lately; I hear so often that he looks like he's 3! We stay busy throughout the weeks going to mommy and me preschool, stroller strides, hanging out with Grammi, Adelyn, and Logan, and watching Tori and Abby on Wednesdays. Our weeks go by way to fast! Kyle loves his busy schedule and hanging out with all his cousins and friends. The biggest accomplishment he has made lately is his language skills. He is referring to things by size now; so in his sentences, he will say something like, " I want the big popsicle." Or refer to babies as so little and himself as big. He has so many words we can't even count and he has been putting about five to six words together in sentences. His favorite animal to pretend to be is a dog and his favorite toys are trains. He also has a favorite friend; Izzy. Kyle can tell you his first and last name and his age, and favorite color (which is orange). It's so much fun to watch him play with other children and build friendships. He still likes independent/parallel play but is seeking out interactive play; especially with his close cousins. Just today, Adelyn and Kyle were making funny faces at each other and making funny noises while they were laying on their beach towels after water play.
Kyle also really loves animals. Bailey is his favorite of course, but he also takes care of his two fish, Baby Eyes and Fish-a-bee. He named them himself! We have also taken up horse back riding lessons and Kyle loves to be at the stables. It is so fun to watch him hold out his hand and pet the horses and show interest in the cows, cats, and chickens. He is not quite old enough for lessons; we have to wait at least 6 months. So for now, he will enjoy the horse rides at Irvine Regional.
Kyle has been riding his bike around the neighborhood and he almost has the skill down. He can peddle but peddling and steering is more tricky.
