First time Piggy Backin'
Oh Henry...so cute!
Look at what 6 months apart looks like!
So happy chillin' in my hotel room.
My parents are crazy Auntie Jen!

Thanks for the toys Gina:)
We went to see the famous Gaylord Hotel. It was beautiful and huge! They were promoting Alice in Wonderland and had a huge event. The kids really liked it. We were there for about an hour and parking was $12! Nevertheless, it was worth checking out. After, we went back to the hotel, hung out with the wedding party for a bit, then off we went to bed. We thought it would be funny to put Ky in front of Aunt Jen and Uncle Brian's hotel bedroom and hide. It was halarious...Auntie Jen's face made us all laugh. The next day, we lounged in our pj's and then got ready for Dayna and Danny's wedding. Ky was super tired at the wedding. Gina did her best holding and cuddling him. She watched Ky while Tim and I danced and mingled. Thanks Gina! The wedding was beautiful and different than CA weddings.

Umm, I'm still waiting for that hearty applesauce!
Bathtime
I really love this Mommy!

Daddy can we get a boat?
Nic and Uncle Brian.
Cruisin' on the yacht!
Ooops...forgot to add this picture to our last post. So adorable!
Ummm, I'll take oatmeal and homemade applesauce please!

When we arrived in Texas, we got our luggage where Aunt Janet, Uncle Gary, Tanya, and the gang met us. We ran into this really interesting farmer who worked at the airport and gave the kids candy. Don't worry, they didn't eat it! We really got a taste of Southern friendliness right off the bat! Being from Southern Ca, where no one even says "hi" to strangers, it was a little weird. It's nice to see people are still friendly! Kyle loved every second in the airport as I lugged him around in the Baby Bjorn...I think I've mentioned how much I love carriers! We went and grabed a bite to eat then we were off to the Coleman house. It was super hot and humid but nothing we couldn't handle. The Coleman house was very big and even with 5 kids and 9 adults, the house was still very spacious. Everything in Texas is Big! We did a lot of fun things on our trip. We ate at a lot of nice places, went to the Gaylord Hotel which was massive and beautiful, and went to tour the Cowboy Stadium. We even went out to the lake and boating twice, and swimming almost nightly. The wedding was beautiful and our main reason for the trip. At the Cowboy Stadium, they let you tour the whole place, so we went on the field and through a football around, sat in some fan seats, toured the locker room, and stood where the Cowboys run out when it is game time. The lake was beautiful and has inspired us to save our pennies for our own boat. We took out two boats the speed boat and the yacht. Both were very nice! Kyle's highlight of the trip was being able to fall asleep in the lake in his life vest. It was so funny to watch him. He also loved the boat and being out on the water. At night, we would go swimming in the Coleman pool which was relaxing and fun for the kids. Staying at the hotel and going to the wedding was super fun! Dayna looked amazing! We even spent our 4th hangin' out by the pool with a river view. Very pretty! Overall, Texas was a good trip and we had lot's of fun. Oh ya, by the way; Texas is also very green and pretty with city and farmland.

Airplane Ride to Texas!

A little blurry but we really like this picture.
Happy as a clam!
Flying is a walk in the park!

I will never forget the look on everyone's faces as a baby walked passed them as they were seated and quiet and getting ready for take off. At first, I felt their pain and thought it would be a really hard flight. Kyle was great as I mentioned in the eralier blog but I wanted to mention it again because he was so happy in the sky.

Texas Trip

Are you sure about this Mommy?
My first plane ride!
Abby and Tori playing with me while Mommy and Daddy get ready for Texas.

Tryin' out my ducky for Texas. I like it.

This summer, Kyle got to try all modes of transportation! Planes, train, and automobiles...and don't forget a favorite; the boat! Packing was a lot of work but it was well worth it. We tried out Kyle's bath time ducky prior to leaving and as the picture shows, he loves the ducky! We tried it in the pool but he didn't like that much. Kyle did fantastic on the plan and I was super impressed. We made it there without a tear. He loved looking at all the interesting people in the airport and in the plane. Kyle looked out the window and was content in the lap of whoever wanted to hold him. I am so proud of the little guy. Abby and Tori kept him entertained as well as Auntie Jen and Uncle Brian. I thought flying would be difficult but if you are prepared it's not bad.

Summer Fun with Friends

Henry and I having floor time together.

Ryan and I Rockin' Out! I love the guitar!
Brian is a little unsure about me.

We have had a busy summer visiting friends! Brian came to visit us a lot! He warmed to to holding Kyle and did a fantastic job! We also went and visited Johny at his new house in Orange. He was having a party for summer birthdays. Kyle loved listening to the guitar with Ryan. When Ryan stopped playing, Kyle would cry, so he played for like an hour straight serenading Kyle. I guess it's time for Mom to freshen up her skills! We also got to spend time with Janelle and Henry. Henry was about 2 months and Ky about 8 months in these pictures. Henry is a big baby. He is so cute and is such a happy baby. Ky wanted to touch him. They are already buddies! Nic and Laura also came to visit us a couple times but we didn't take pictures. Next time:)

Charlotte's Half Birthday

My Auntie and I playing!
The only picture we got of the birthday girl. Luckily, she's surrounded by friends and family!

I love birthday parties!
Adelyn's goin' bug hunting and I wish I could but I'm off to bed.
I love my Uncle!

So, we were invited to Charlotte's half birthday party and it was so much fun! The food was great and there was plenty of things for the kids to do. Kyle loved to watch the kids in the bounce house and was really curious about the bug catcher. We are saving it for when he gets a little older. It was cute to see Charlie eat her cake and have fun with the other kiddos. Kyle spent a lot of time with his Uncle and Auntie and also Gramma and Papa. The day was great!
