Off to Auntie Jen's and Uncle Brian's for a BBQ! Auntie Jen and Uncle Brian got Kyle a cute BBQ shirt; so perfect time to sport it! Kyle also got to experiment with the computer. He was more interested in the new puppy, Jewels. Also his cousins Tori and Abby.

What a fun day spent with Grandma, Auntie Cole, and Adelyn. We went to the park and then had water play. The park was great... it was a nice day, Grandma bought everyone lunch, and Kyle got to go down the slides with Auntie Cole and Adelyn. Then, Kyle played in the water. Kyle loves the water as long as it's warm. Today, it was kind of cold. He was ok with it, as long as it didn't touch his belly. Adelyn is so sweet to her cousin; she is understanding, patient, and loves him.

Kyle and I still go to our Mommy and me class. We love it but are ready for a new adventure as it's sad to see all the Mommies go back to work. I think I mentioned that before?? After class, we went to work on the house. We are getting ready to move in. We have been busy cleaning, planting a garden, getting ready for painters, looking at furniture, and all the rest that goes into moving into a home. Kyle enjoys watching Daddy and working and is starting to sleep well at the house with his Giraffe (music maker) and the ipod. He will definitely get speakers from Daddy in his room!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all Mommies! What a special day... what did we ever do without our babies? We had great fun! First, Kyle got to experiment with the exersaucer and loves it. He is growing so fast. Then, Adelyn brought over her new bubble machine which blew endless bubbles. I want one! Dad cooked me yummy breakfast and gave me the most beautiful flowers. Papa made great food (as always) and we even got to visit with Great Grandma GiGi, Aunt Joan, and Uncle Mike. Papa gave me a lovely rose. Papa and Grandma gave me a gift card to Nordstrom as well as Auntie Cole (and flowers), yae! Auntie Cole and Uncle Mike gave Kyle a cute shirt and hat, adorable. The day was a great celebration of being a Mother to a wonderful son and to celebrate my Mom and all Moms!

More great adventures in May! We have painted the nursery green and are getting carpet installed soon. Tori had her Big 5th Birthday that was so much fun!

Disneyland trip with Aunties and Cousins

Today, we met Auntie Cole, Auntie Julie, Cousins Adelyn, and Michael at Disneyland. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pics of Kyle's Aunts. We will just have to go together again! We had so much fun. We only went on a couple rides together but the experience was great. I realized to go off on my own when Kyle needs something... like to eat! It was great because we all just met up after and Auntie Cole and Julie saved us a spot in line for Dumbo. I am so happy we went and did something fun on a Monday. Great idea Auntie Cole!

Yep, still love the bath!

May has been a busy month, like the ones prior! New skills have emerged and old ones have improved. It's so hard to keep track. Ky still loves his baths and I still love posting the pics. We have also tried cloth diapers this month and wonder why I didn't try them sooner. I have placed an order for a trial pair of gBaby (I think that's what they are called) diapers so I will let you know how it goes. I read that one baby will go through 1 ton of diapers before the child is potty trained and they don't disintegrate for 500 years! Who knows! I was shocked though. Ky also enjoyed his first water play experience at Grandma's house with Auntie Cole, Adelyn, and mommy. Grandma had knee surgery though, so she watched. Kyle loves the water; as long as it's not too cold!
