A Day At The Zoo (05.21)

Grandma enjoying her Grandchildren.

Grandma, look at the Ant Eater!
Auntie Cole, the Ant Eater (right side), and me!

Thanks Grandma; for taking us to the zoo!

Today, Grandma took us to the zoo (round 2)! We had so much fun looking at the new exhibits that were African Safari. They even have a new ant eater that both Adelyn and Kyle enjoyed watching. Next time we will have to make it to the train before it closes. We also saw the monkeys and new baby monkeys and other neat animals. Then we had lunch at the zoo, thanks to Grandma! The grilled cheese brings me back to childhood; yummy American cheese! It was such a fun day; we can't wait to go again.

May 18 and May 20th

Grandma, you're so good to us!
Waking up.
Pirates' makes me sleepy!
Adelyn, say Candy!
I love Pooh! (05.19.10). So many new things to look at!
We had to leave early because Mommy forgot a diaper!
A day at the park.

Ok, so I went to the park and forgot to bring a diaper! Oops! Kyle was enjoying the sun in the shade and then we had to leave. The chances right now are so slim I thought we would be ok. It was fun though. Then on Thursday (May 20th), we went to Disneyland with Grandma, Auntie Cole, and Adelyn. We should have taken more pictures; the ones we go are cute. We went on Pooh, Pirates, and then then had lunch. It was so much fun. Thanks for lunch Grandma... we ate at the restaurant near Casey Jr. and it was crowded. Summer is coming! That was Grandma's last time for a while, her pass expired:( That's ok, we'll go again soon.

End of May

I'm done!
Hmm I think I kinda like it!
My first bite.....
Time for some homemade Butternut Squash.
Ky just hangin' out watching us garden.

Tori at work in the garden.

Kyle has been growing so fast! He has met so many milestones and I'm so proud of the little guy! Kyle is great at rolling over and about a week ago rolled from back to belly. Kyle also loves to laugh and giggle; it's so contagious! He loves his toys and his favorite would probably be musical toys that light up. He also loves his baby einstein ball. Kyle is sleeping more in his crib and for longer. On a good night, he goes for about 6 hours without eating; pretty impressive! In the beginning it was every 2 hours and it took him 1 hour to eat. I only got 1 hour of sleep before the next feeding...brutal! Kyle can also last longer in his bouncy seat while I'm getting ready in the morning. Kyle is a lot happier and seems to be over the colicky stage...hurray! The reflux has also improved and we are still working on other GI issues. Kyle started eating solid food and doesn't quite know what to think of it yet. It's only been about two weeks. We started him on squash, then carrots, but resorted to oatmeal. The Dr. said that veggies are better for children with GI issues because it's non-constipating. Rice cereal is very constipating. He seems to like the oatmeal the best so far. I think it's because it's so bland. We are making all his baby food and even started a garden which is mostly food he will be able to eat...totally organic! I also ordered more cloth diapers on the internet that are easier to use than the one we tried and didn't really like. Kyle's favorite song is, 'Wheels on the Bus" and favorite game is, 'Peek a Boo' and tickling him. Kyle is now wearing 6-9 month clothes. I can't believe he is already so big. Kyle weighed 17 pounds at his last Dr. visit in the middle of May and is in the 50th percentile for weight and 75 percentile for height. He's going to be tall. We have been getting ready for the big move into the house. Painters have started painting and next weeks we get carpet. Then, we move in. We have been so busy.
