My cousin showing me what to do.
The last weekend in August (the weekend after the horse races), Nicole and Mike told us about the Foodie Fest held at The Pond. It was super hot, so standing on the asphault was intense. Nevertheless, we had lots of fun! We tried several food vendors and got to play! Pretend City brought their city to Anaheim and it was so fun. Kyle loved the pretend wood chips. They were filled with germies and hair from other kiddos but he was having so much fun! Adelyn showed Ky how to use the shovel and materials....super cute! Ky and Adelyn even wore hats that the nice ladies made them. Well, Ky didn't keep it on for long. We were super impressed by how long Kyle sat and played with the wood chips and how interested he was in the materials available to him and other kids! Good job baby!

Gifts from Gramma and Papa

My bib and my string...Thanks Papa!
My Dungaloo! I loved the wrapping!
Look how little Bai is!
The next day, after the horse races, we went to Gramma and Papas to open gifts they bought us from their trip to Paris and Switzerland. We got beautiful gifts that were wrapped with care. Gramma and Papa got Kyle his first wooden hammer set, music, and a handmade stuffed Dungalo animal. Papa got him the cutest bib ever! We also got cute accessories for the house such as decorative towels and a beautiful flower picture of real Switzerland dried flowers. Thank you so much Gramma and Papa for the nice things! Your trip seemed like it was amazing....hopefully we can take Ky one day!

Del Mar Continued

Ok, who was the corporate? Uncle Mike....
Papa made light of the situation and we continued to have a good time!
So, we got stuck on the train and we had to find a way out!
Grandma put me to sleep!
Uncle Mike, I can't wait for cousin Logan!
Woohooo!
My cousin is so caring!
The kids...best pic Mom could capture!
Waitng for the train to go home. We were so busy betting we didn't take pics at the horse races.

I loved being with Papa on the double decker bus.

Del Mar

Oh, we get to go on a bus too? This is great! Happy times with Papa and Adelyn.
I even have my own seat!
Having fun!
My first time on a train.
Plains, Trains, and Automobiles; oh, and Boats this summer! .....Off we go to the horse races! Last year, I was pregnant with Kyle when we went to Del Mar. I am glad I had him in my arms this time, as the trip was much more enjoyable. We went with a big group including family and friends. Auntie Cole and Grandma played with Kyle all day long! Daddy, Papa, Uncle Mike, and friends gambled the day away! Well, I can't lie! So did I! We all did. We also had great food. Kyle really liked to watch the horses and even got in on the betting. We won a few dollars and we were so proud. We even made the early train home this trip! Kyle did great even considering the train broke down on our way home. We all made light of the situation and just had fun. What a great adventure! It's a yearly tradition and we can't wait for next year!

A day at the park.

So happy:)

Quack, quack!
Well, what are we waiting for?
This summer we spent a lot of time with Gramma when we weren't on vacation! This summer was so busy. We managed to fit in a fun day at the park with Gramma, Zoe, Kyle, and I. Gramma even brought us yummy lunch from Campetelli's Deli. Kyle loved looking at the ducks. We didn't have any bread to give them. What a fun day!

Kyle's First Beach Trip.

Zoe loves the surf!
My first time in ocean water.
Those waves are big!
Can I go surfing yet Mommy?
Me sportin' my shark hat and shark boardshorts!
Kyle had a great time at the beach for his first time. He did go to Doheny Fest but didn't play in the sand or water. He got to try out both this trip. Gramma and Papa went to Paris and Switzerland and we got to watch Zoe. She loves the beach and so do we, so we decided to go. He really liked the waves and dad picking him up when the waves were a little too big. He also liked watching Zoe and the other doggies. We lathered on the sunscreen brought a couple hats and several changes of clothes and towels. Only problem, Ky got ringworm. I guess maybe from other dogs?? Nevertheless, he had a great time!
